WatchPro Software Overview

WatchPro is a software package which runs on a standard desktop PC to provide a convenient and simple means of monitoring production output of an entire factory on a single screen.  Production output is counted as it occurs on the shop floor via counter display units which transfer the data over a single network cable to the computer.  WatchPro logs the data and presents a range of powerful functions to monitor and analyse the information.

Display units can be linked together using a local area network so that production information for the entire factory can be viewed on one computer screen.

The WatchPro software is also used for programming the display units with shift start and stop times, the target production for each shift, editing the model number or for editing the moving messages which can be shown on the top line of the display.

In today's manufacturing industry, the reduction of operating costs is essential in an increasingly competitive world.  To achieve this, the manager must reduce supervisory personnel to a minimum and apply a tight control over production efficiency and targets.

WatchPro satisfies these requirements by reading data from the shop floor to allow a single operator to continuously monitor production output factory wide, or to examine specific data on a single production line as it happens.

The processing power of the computer is further harnessed for the sophisticated analysis of data and for the automatic generation of production reports and graphical presentations thus reducing the need for time consuming and expensive paperwork.
