The L series
WatchPro display units are used for displaying production performance information to line managers and the shop floor workforce in large manufacturing areas. They are typically mounted at the end of a production line so that all the workers on the production line can see the current production target and how close the production is to meeting that target.
Display units can be provided in a single or double sided format where the counts are displayed on both sides of the display unit. When mounted above a production line, viewing distances of 30 to 40 metres are achievable using
125mm red LED display elements for the actual, target, and variance counts and
100mm dot matrix LED display elements for the top line of the display.
The display unit has opto-isolated
inputs which are used to connect to a sensor on the production line which
is used to provide the production count input to the unit; the production
count is displayed on the
ACTUAL
line of the unit. The
TARGET line of the unit
is used to display the moving shift target which is the number of units
that should have been produced at the current time in the shift. The
VARIANCE
line simply displays the difference between the actual and target figures
and will be displayed as a negative number if production is behind
schedule.
The
top line of the display is a 10 character dot matrix display which can be
used for showing the model number or a moving message display depending on
individual requirements.
