The Interface Box is designed to be used with the L series and ML series display units and provides a means of connecting a PC to the display unit so that the network IP address of the display unit can be configured. It also has a reset switch which can be used for resetting the display unit without having to power it down. The PC connects to the interface box using a standard RS232 interface cable and the interface box connects to the display unit using a 25 way cable.

The interface box requires a 12 Volts supply which is usually obtained from the power supply inside the display unit fed down the 25 way cable.
